Royal Botanic Garden at Kew

About us

Kew is a global resource in plant and fungal knowledge, and an important repository of biological collections. The organisation carries out field- and laboratory-based scientific research to describe, understand and conserve biodiversity and inform policy development at all levels. Our collections-based science is focused on five research priorities: ecosystem stewardship, trait diversity and function, digital revolution, accelerated taxonomy, and enhanced partnerships (including interdisciplinary research). Further details can be found here: www.kew.org/science/our-science/departments

Kew offers a wide range of engagement opportunities including co-supervision, training courses and public engagement, in addition to work placements, fieldwork support and expert advice. Kew’s world-class facilities, field sites, and plant and fungal data are also available to its partners.
