I graduated from Bristol University in 2016 with a BSc in Biological Sciences. During my undergraduate degree, I developed a keen interest in parasitology and went on to complete a Masters by Research in Veterinary Parasitology in 2017. This research focused on ticks and tick-borne diseases infesting cats in Great Britain, and was part of MSD Animal Health's UK-wide initiative; The Big Tick Project. This was the largest veterinary tick and tick-borne disease study in UK history.
Current Research
My current interests are still firmly based in parasitology and, as a development from my Master's research, I have become more interested in molecular biology. How organisms adapt to inhabiting a host has always fascinated me, and so I would like to apply my research skills to study microbes and how they adapt to a host.
